In Hollow Knight: Silksong, Hornet’s journey through the kingdom of Pharloom can take many directions, and not every task comes directly from the main path. After reaching Act 3, a visit to Bellhart opens up new opportunities through Bellhart’s Wishwall. Among the available requests is the Hidden Hunter, a Grand Hunt wish that asks Hornet to track down the thief who stole Gilly’s Keepsake. Because the request is marked as a Grand Hunt wish, it immediately suggests that the encounter will be far more threatening than an ordinary hunt. The quest is not simply about finding an object; it requires crossing into a sealed portion of Far Fields, reading subtle signs in the environment, and eventually facing a dangerous hidden opponent.

Starting the Hunt

The quest begins with a clue. The Hidden Hunter wish explains that the stolen keepsake was taken near the Bellshrine between Deep Docks and Far Fields. That location is treated as the last place where the thief was detected. When Hornet searches the area close to the Far Fields Bellshrine, she can discover a visible track on the ground. This track is the first step in a longer trail. From that point, following the track becomes the main method of navigation, since the hidden hunter does not simply wait in an open arena.
